Spent yesterday morning baking with my nieces, Iggy and Bah. Drop by my cooking blog to see the fruits of our labor. Word of warning: Do not try the praline bacon...it's addicting! Yeppers, it's that perfect blend of salty, sweet, and pork fat! My eyes were rolling into the back of my head in ecstasy after that first bite LOL!
These were all new recipes for us. Results may not have been the most picture-perfect, but it was just right for us. The time I spent with them was just what the doctor ordered! They bring such light to my life.

The snowflake is "my symbol". I asked Dean to buy me a diamond snowflake pendant for our 20th wedding anniversary... 11 years to go and it's MINE. I hope.
